Why be an island when there is so much support waiting for you?

Hey there,

Why be an island when there is so much support waiting for you? There is power in having guidance on tap.

I have spoken to parents in our member app when they were in crisis and couldn’t reach their therapist. I’ve been asked to look at therapist’s websites to make sure they would be a good fit to save parents time and money.

I have educated parents on various themes of anxiety and OCD only for them to discover they had been missing a HUGE theme.

I have connected parents to local therapists as well as other parents and kids in their local areas.

I have made videos specifically for member’s kids when the parent knew a video would open their child’s eyes to a struggle they think no one else has had.

I have watched parents have lightbulb moments that have catapulted their child’s progress.

I have witnessed kids grow month after month in our kid and teen support group calls.

This is the power of the AT Parenting Community. This type of in-depth support is available to you as well.

The doors to the AT Parenting Community are only open to new members until tomorrow, Thursday, July 23rd, 2026. We look forward to welcoming you in and offering you a ton of support as well.

Why kids might avoid things that “feel wrong”—and how to help

Suddenly, your child won't sit next to a sibling, refuses to touch a favorite toy, or starts avoiding a place they usually love to visit—and no matter how many times you ask why, the answer doesn't quite make sense. This avoidance may be a sign of emotional contamination, and when left untreated, it often grows. Learn more about emotional contamination in OCD, and how you can help your child get closer to the people, places, and things they love.

NOCD Therapists specialize in treating OCD in children, teens, and adults. They accept most insurance plans and involve the whole family in treatment, empowering you and your loved ones to more effectively support your child. Book a free call to learn more.

Take care,
Natasha

Hey Reader- The email usually starts with, “Oh no! I just saw this. Is it possible…” and inevitably it is someone begging me to keep the doors to the AT Parenting Community open after they’ve been closed. I don’t want that to be you. Some parents sit with a decision for a long time. Do they really need that kind of support? Is it going to be worth it? Some parents sit so long, they miss their opportunity. Then the doors close and they have second thoughts about not having the amazing support...

Hi Reader- There is nothing more powerful than having all the knowledge to spot a good anxiety or OCD therapist a mile away, because you are that skilled. Get empowered to help your child or teen directly There is nothing more empowering than having a group of hundreds of parents give you advice when you have a meeting with the school, therapist or doctor. There is nothing more rewarding than finding out exactly where to start and how to respond to your child’s anxiety or OCD struggles. Want...

Hi Reader- Your child, if lucky, spends about 1 hour a week with a therapist. Your child, and their anxiety and OCD, spend 168 hours per week with YOU. You do the math. You have the biggest influence over your child’s anxiety or OCD. A therapist is meant to guide and support you and your child, but the rest is up to you, and them. That might feel overwhelming, but in truth it can be empowering. All you need is a little guidance on where to start, what to do, and how to do it. Make that...
