Why be an island when there is so much support waiting for you?

Hey there,

Why be an island when there is so much support waiting for you? There is power in having guidance on tap.

I have spoken to parents in our member app when they were in crisis and couldn’t reach their therapist. I’ve been asked to look at therapist’s websites to make sure they would be a good fit to save parents time and money.

I have educated parents on various themes of anxiety and OCD only for them to discover they had been missing a HUGE theme.

I have connected parents to local therapists as well as other parents and kids in their local areas.

I have made videos specifically for member’s kids when the parent knew a video would open their child’s eyes to a struggle they think no one else has had.

I have watched parents have lightbulb moments that have catapulted their child’s progress.

I have witnessed kids grow month after month in our kid and teen support group calls.

This is the power of the AT Parenting Community. This type of in-depth support is available to you as well.

The doors to the AT Parenting Community are only open to new members until tomorrow, Thursday, April 30th, 2026. We look forward to welcoming you in and offering you a ton of support as well.

Can virtual therapy really help my child's OCD?

Between school drop-offs, homework, and everyday chaos, squeezing in OCD treatment for your kid can feel impossible. Virtual ERP therapy can help—by eliminating commutes, and offering more flexibility for your schedule. And, it’s often more effective than in-person treatment because it lets kids practice skills in their daily environment, where triggers usually show up. Read more about why virtual therapy works for OCD, and how you can make it work for your family.

NOCD Therapists specialize in treating OCD in children, teens, and adults. They accept most insurance plans and involve the whole family in treatment, empowering you and your loved ones to more effectively support your child. Book a free call to learn more.

Take care,
Natasha

Hey Reader- Contamination OCD is often much more complex than many parents realize. It is not always about germs, handwashing, or obvious fears of illness. Hey Reader- Watching your child struggle with OCD is exhausting — and once you start recognizing compulsions, it's easy to swing too far in the other direction. That's what I call becoming the "OCD police." In this podcast episode, I explore how parents can unintentionally shift from helping to over-monitoring, constantly pointing out compulsions, questioning behaviors, and trying to control OCD at every turn. It comes from love, but hypervigilance can damage trust, increase shame, and cause...
